Dior store

It has only been four years since Dior added a dedicated men’s boutique to the existing women’s store at Plaza Indonesia, one of Jakarta‘s leading luxury shopping centres. Meanwhile Indonesia‘s luxury market has seen a steady growth, and the Paris-based fashion house has anticipated this upward trend. Following a lengthy renovation, which took about ten months, the Paris-based fashion house inaugurated an expanded new retail space on the premises which carries both womenswear and menswear. Situated on the ground floor of the multi-storey building, the boutique sees separate entrances for the women’s and men’s sections, and occupies two levels. The interior design, created by the brand’s in-house design team in the French capital, is elegant and luminous, incorporating many of Dior‘s emblematic design codes along the way.

The cannage motif is reinterpreted in contemporary decorations, but there are also new embellishments and designs, such as a roses-textured wall inspired by the Dior Gardens and super sleek metal shelving units. A series of different settings, each meticulously designed and with many a cozy seating nook where to sit back and ponder over one’s next trophy purchase, each presents a segment of Dior‘s elaborate collections. Mind you, given the expanded premises, the women’s domain features the largest accessories wall in all of Southeast Asia. And for those who’d like to splurge discreetly, the store’s V.I.P. room is readily available. The new Dior store carries women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes, small leather goods, eyewear, jewellery pieces and watches. © superfuture
