ASD|SKY designed Barnes & Thornburg’s modern 36,000 square-foot Atlanta office with a focus on inner-office collaboration, utilizing unique lighting fixtures, custom elements, and a casual environment.

Having completed the relocation of their 24,000 square-foot Atlanta office in 2011, ASD|SKY was Barnes & Thornburg’s first choice to provide design services for their new 36,000 square-foot office in 2023. Now with a 1 : 4.5 Legal Assistant/Attorney Ratio, and an average of 679 square-feet allotted to each Attorney, this modernized office allows for unparalleled inner-office collaboration. A custom reception desk and unique lighting fixtures add a distinct flair to the traditional marble wall elements and natural wood flooring. A grid-like patterned installation on the ceiling continues into a feature wall spanning two-floors at the internal connecting stair. With high-top tables and bar seating in the breakroom and booths and banquette seating downstairs, this casual environment meets all of Barnes & Thornburg’s logistical requirements and serves as a client-facing social hub.
