Under the innovation spearheaded by iDA Workplace, the JLL Taipei office has undergone a striking transformation. Integrating local elements and materials from Taiwan with a modern visual language, it now offers a more comfortable and wellbeing work environment.
Stepping into the lobby, the design draws inspiration from Taipei’s natural scenery. The reception desk and lighting fixtures in the pantry area echo the rolling mountains of Taipei, adding depth and dynamic beauty to the space. The wall tiles in the pantry, partition panels in the lounge area, and acoustic panels in the meeting rooms take cues from Taiwan’s traditional lattice window designs, seamlessly blending traditional cultural elements into modern office spaces. Moreover, the walls of the open office area are adorned with illustrations by Taiwanese artists depicting Taiwan’s unique landscapes, fauna, and architectural styles. This design not only showcases regional characteristics but also brings visual delight and comfort to colleagues, enlivening the workspace.
Comprehensive upgrades to workstation layout and office circulation have been made, transitioning from closed-off to open-plan offices. This change maximizes space utilization, reduces partitioning and circulation areas, and enhances overall spatial transparency. It not only fosters communication and collaboration among colleagues but also creates a more vibrant atmosphere.
The project has earned LEED Platinum and WELL certifications, underscoring a deep commitment to environmental sustainability and colleague well-being. Additionally, the use of low volatile organic compound materials minimizes the impact on indoor air quality, fostering a fresh, green, healthy, and comfortable working environment for colleagues. The redesigned JLL Taipei office by iDA Workplace is more than just a workspace; it’s a creative fusion of modern design and Taiwanese culture.
